The artist group 5STK participate with a project where we transform photo into a landscapes of cardboard and a landscape of light.

Welcome on this discovery journey in a visual landscape which is in constant TRANSFORMATION. The Union of Professional Artists and Artisans, ProKK, is challenging itself and the audience through a new artistic structure: art exhibition, laboratory and open workshop all-in-one. An alchemical experiment – a collaboration across borders – an equation with numerous variables. Anything can happen!
A total of 42 collaborative projects with more than 120 artists and guests fill out Filmby Aarhus for 10 days and transform it into a practice room for artistic collaboration and conceptual border-crossing.
Studio 1 and 2 serve as “work stations” in which the various constellations of artists can unfold. Graphic designers, sculptors, conceptual artists, photographers, textile print designers, weavers, etc. work together with unconventional collaboration partners such as writers, philosophers, mathematicians, family members, etc. in order to challenge and explore each other’s work across their differing professions.
The framework of the project is only partially predetermined. Most of it evolves along with the collaboration. The first 5 days are spent gearing up, firing up the kettle and facilitating the alchemical reactions. The remaining 5 days are dedicated to the public, who is invited in to explore, participate and converse.
